Curious about going vegan? Here’s why 2023 is the perfect time for you to give it a try…
1) It’s better for animals!
Of course, nobody wants to harm animals. The easiest thing you can do to reduce animal suffering is simply not to eat them.
2) It helps the planet!
Animal agriculture is one of the leading causes of greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, and water pollution globally. It also uses huge amounts of land, fresh water, and other resources. Going vegan is one of the best things you can to reduce your impact upon the planet.
3) It’s healthy!
Every major dietetic organisation around the world agrees that a balanced vegan diet provides all the nutrients our bodies need. In addition, research shows that those following a vegan diet suffer a reduced risk of certain types of cancer, type-2 diabetes, and heart disease.
The short answer is no - especially not in the name of animal rights.
