More than 3,000 people have signed up to this year's Summer Vegan Pledge.
The Summer Vegan Pledge is a 30-day pledge for non-vegans to try a vegan diet for the month of June. Last year, more than 3,700 people took part with 53% remaining vegan afterwards and an additional 44% reducing their consumption of animal products. Â
So far, more than 3,000 people have pledged to go vegan this June, with more expected to sign up.
This year’s Summer Vegan Pledge has been backed by celebrities and well-known faces, including Countdown star Rachel Riley, Host of A Place in the Sun Jasmine Harman and actor Peter Egan.
