The Vegan Land Movement has the goal of removing land from animal agriculture, and returning it to nature and Veganic farming.
Started in 2020, the Vegan Land Movement has removed four plots of land from animal agriculture, totalling 25 acres. They work online to generate interest and funds, bringing together vegans and those interested in enriching the environment, whilst helping to save animals from a life of suffering.
“This summer we completed our first set of species counts and we were all overjoyed at how much life had returned.”
By re-wilding the land, through allowing nature to flourish and planting trees, the Vegan Land Movement has totally transformed the areas of land it has purchased. From barren grazing land, the parcels are now thriving with life – and, not to forget, the land will no longer be used for exploiting animals.
The following photos show the species of animals – and plants – who have returned to the land following the Vegan Land Movement’s buy-outs and re-wilding work.
