Please ask your MP to sign a new Early Day Motion (EDM) which calls for the government to implement its promised ban on snares as soon as possible.
The EDM, (EDM705), tabled by Ruth Jones MP encourages the government to press ahead with its commitment to ban snares as soon as possible.
Since the government gave its commitment to ban snares in England, we have been extremely busy behind the scenes, working to strengthen the case against these terribly cruel, indiscriminate and archaic devices.
Our friends at The League Against Cruel Sports have published some new and very encouraging results from polling they commissioned from YouGov, demonstrating that 71% of those who live in England believe that the use of snares should be made illegal in the country.
We need as many MPs as possible to sign the EDM, in order to demonstrate that there is strong, cross-party support for this ban.
Write to your MPAs the Grand National passes, the terrible deaths and abuse of horses may fade from most people’s minds. Sadly, there are myriad other ways that humans exploit and harm horses - for our entertainment...

We are horrified to report that yet another innocent animal has been killed as a result of racing at the Grand National Meeting.
