To launch our new No Safe Limit campaign – which calls for sales restrictions on processed red meat due to its link to bowel cancer – Animal Aid is taking to the road to visit six towns and cities across the UK that are black-spots for the disease.
Despite the link between eating processed red meat and an increased risk of bowel cancer being firmly established, little has been done to educate the public about the danger. So, in each location on our tour, all of which have amongst the highest incidence rates of bowel cancer in the UK, we will be distributing information about our campaign, showing the short film below, and encouraging people to ditch processed red meat in favour of plant-based foods that have been proven to lower the risk of bowel cancer.

If you live in or near one of these cities and can help with distributing leaflets and information on the day the Battle Bus is there, please contact Ben.
If you don’t live near one of these cities, but would still like to help with the campaign, please visit our No Safe Limit campaign page to find out what you can do in your area.
