Three vegans in their 70s explain why age isn’t a barrier to going vegan.

Michael, Sara and Rosemary are vegans who are all in their 70s. In this video they discuss their reasons for going vegan, what their journey to veganism was like and why they think that age shouldn’t be a barrier to going vegan.

Some people believe that veganism is just a virtue of the young, but in reality, veganism is for everybody!

[A]ppropriately planned vegetarian, including vegan, diets are healthful, nutritionally adequate, and may provide health benefits for the prevention and treatment of certain diseases. These diets are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, adolescence, older adulthood, and for athletes.” – Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
