Great prizes on offer in Vegan Festival of Britain competitions

Posted on the 21st March 2017

Animal Aid is celebrating its 40th anniversary from May 20 - June 10 by co-ordinating The Vegan Festival of Britain, and there are currently two great competitions open for entries.

Vegan Cakery rainbow confetti cakeThe multi award-winning Leicestershire-based Vegan Cakery has generously donated an amazing rainbow cake (20-24 slices) to the winner of a competition to organise a vegan cake and coffee morning at their workplace or local club during the Vegan Festival of Britain (VFOB). Or it could just be a birthday or other landmark party at a home address. We are sorry to have to limit entries to within 100 miles of Leicester.  See the VFOB website for full details. The closing date is 31 March, so please get your entry in quickly.

Fry's Traditional-Style Burger with Tomato RelishThe second competition features a generous prize from Fry’s Family Foods, who are funding three privately organised barbecues during the Vegan Festival – each event for up to 30 people. See the website for full details. The closing date is 7 April.

Events are taking place all over the country during the three-week Vegan Festival of Britain, from  Aberdeen and Newcastle to Bristol, Exeter and Norwich. You can find details on the Festival events pages. There is still plenty of time for you to get involved, check out the How You Can Help page.
