Organise a fundraising event

Thank you for considering organising an event to raise funds for Animal Aid. What you do and how you do it is up to you, of course, but here are a few suggestions that might help. We are very happy to give advice over the phone (01732 364546) or by email.

First, decide what you want to do and why you want to do it. Ideally, find something that you will really enjoy, so that perhaps you will want to do it again. You might organise one (or more!) of the following:

• a jumble sale
• a fete
• a benefit gig
• a quiz
• a themed film evening
• a karaoke evening
• a vegan barbecue
• a board games or party games evening
• a fancy dress party
• a coffee morning
• a sports tournament in your back garden

An alternative to organising your own event is to take part in someone else’s, by, for example, applying to run in an organised race, or having a stall at a local school Christmas Fair. For sponsored events, contact us if you would like us to host a sponsor form on our website.

When the event is over, you can donate the proceeds to Animal Aid at our website, by phoning us with your debit or credit card details, or by posting a cheque payable to Animal Aid.
