Our second exciting Future of Science student conference is happening today!
Held at the Lush Green Hub in Poole, the event will allow A-level science students to learn more about non-animal new approach methodologies (NAMs). These cutting-edge techniques are more human-relevant than animal experiments and the students will learn how specialising in non-animal NAMs could help them future-proof their scientific careers. Young scientists who are considering a future in science can be put off the research path by the thought of conducting experiments on animals. Today’s conference will demonstrate that there are better, more humane, ways to conduct research and to have a rewarding and satisfying career.
Students at the conference will enjoy inspirational talks from leading researchers and scientists working in the field of non-animal NAMs. They will also have a chance to engage in workshops and view an exclusive tour of XCellR8’s pioneering animal-free laboratory which does not use any animals or animal cells or products in their work.
The conference will be an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the future of science, to listen to the expertise of prominent scientists, working in both regulatory and commercial sectors and to ask questions and immerse themselves in this exciting topic!
