Forge Farm slaughterhouse investigation update

Animal Aid has become aware that Forge Farm Meats Ltd and two of the slaughterhouse workers will appear at Maidstone Magistrates Court tomorrow.

This may just be the first hearing so sentencing may not take place just yet, but we’re hugely relieved that it is finally coming to court. This is following on from our undercover investigation in spring of last year into Forge Farm Meats Ltd. This revealed serious cause for concern over the way animals were treated and stunned.
