Free talks on the welfare issues in horse racing
Animal Aid's Horse Consultant Dene Stansall is available to give free in-person and free online talks on the welfare issues in horse racing, followed by Q&A sessions.
These sessions are an ideal opportunity for your students to expand their knowledge of horse welfare and to develop their critical thinking skills.
Dene has been invited to talk on horse welfare at the Labour Party Conference (2019), to the RSPCA’s Scientific and Academic Committee, and to the All-Party Group on Animal Welfare at Westminster as well as at universities and colleges across Britain. He has contributed to books and peer-reviewed scientific papers on the issue of horse welfare.
