Badger cull could be extended to eight new counties

Despite obvious and strong public opposition, it is being widely reported that the government is planning to expand the horrific badger cull to eight more counties.

The badger cull is continuously pushed by the dairy industry; despite the fact that it is the industry’s own practices that are actually driving the spread of bovine TB.

Around 20,000 badgers were killed last year, but cases of bovine TB have significantly risen, demonstrating how absurd this cull is. It is extremely worrying that the government would continue a practice despite clear scientific evidence of its ineffectiveness.

One of the best ways to try and help the badgers and cows is by no longer financially supporting the dairy industry. It is easier than ever to ditch dairy and go vegan.
