Ask supermarkets to #MarkItVegan!

Posted on the 13th December 2017

Since Animal Aid launched our #MarkItVegan campaign, both Asda and Tesco have agreed to label their own brand vegan products.

As the popularity of veganism grows, and supermarkets start to introduce more vegan products, there has never been a more appropriate time for supermarket giants to ensure their vegan products are clearly labelled.

And yet, major supermarkets Aldi, Iceland, Lidl, Marks & Spencer, Morrisons and Waitrose do not label all of their own brand vegan products.

Not only does labelling make it easier for vegans – especially new vegans – to know which products are suitable for them, clear labelling makes life that bit easier for those with allergies.

Here’s what you can do to help the campaign!

  1. Sign the petition to the CEOs of the largest supermarkets and ask them to #MarkItVegan!
  2. Order our campaign postcards
  3. Do you own shares in any of the above supermarkets? If so, please get in touch to help the campaign further!
