A feast of ethical festive treats awaits you at the Animal Aid Christmas Fayre. To enrich your mind, soul... and stomach.
If you’ve never been to the Fayre before, do come, you will love it. An uplifting day-out of unfettered shopping from principled companies and animal-free food producers, whilst making new friends and engaging with the diversity of animal charities and campaigners. This year, we are especially delighted to welcome Caroline Lucas, Green MP, and Peter Tatchell, human and animal rights campaigner, who will both be speaking in the lecture theatre.
From 10am to 5pm at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX
We regret that no animals, except assistance dogs, are allowed in the Town Hall.
One hundred animal-friendly, eco-conscious and fair-trade exhibitors under one roof – from Ananda Foods and Blackfish to Wild Futures. Enjoy a cornucopia of food treats, cupcakes, chocolates and cheeses from regular exhibitors. And new this year at the Fayre are savoury pies from Mr. Nice Pie, Badger Dairy-Free side-salads & dressings, Nectar Foods, Cocoa Feliz handmade chocolates, Pitfield Brewery and desserts from Pudology. And of course we have cafes with delicious catering from Fairfoods, Veggies & Shambhu’s.
Looking for great gifts? In our ethical emporium are LoveLibby’s unique upcycled jewellery, fair-trade goods from Fair Grounds, fashion by Bohohemp or Hempish and shoes galore from Wills or Vegetarian Shoes. In the fragrant halls, Lush, Holy Lama, Holistyx, Heavenly Organics & Honesty will offer a huge selection of skincare & toiletry products. Not forgetting seasonal goodies direct from animal organisations themselves – whether working for fish, foxes or farmed animals.
Supporting the work of animal charities and campaign groups is central to the Fayre, from rescue centres looking after animals in the UK or abroad, vegan diet & lifestyle organisations, to those working for badgers, orang-utans or animals in laboratories. Visitors and exhibitors alike are empowered by the buoyant atmosphere.
Sunday 7th December in Kensington Town Hall, London – do join us at the Fayre for a meeting of like-minds, for learning, fundraising, festive-shopping and above all to make a difference.
