To celebrate its 40th anniversary next year, Animal Aid is organising the first nationwide Vegan Festival of Britain (May 20 to June 10 2017).
Supported by Benjamin Zephaniah and many leading vegan companies, the three-week event will be launched at Bristol Vegfest on Saturday 20 May. The idea is to inspire the boundless creativity, vitality and passion within the vegan community to create a huge celebration of cruelty-free living. Whether it is an individual inviting a neighbour for tea and cake, or a group organising a vegan fair or food tasting event, we want as many vegans as possible to help us to make the event special.
Details of the festival, its supporters and the ideas behind the event are available from the website โ veganfestivalofbritain.org.uk. You can sign up there to receive regular updates and also to register your own contribution to this exciting project.
