Amazing vegan products released in January 2018!

2018 has already been huge for veganism, with more than 150,000 signing up for the Veganuary pledge and loads of new amazing vegan products being released. It has never been easier to adopt a cruelty-free diet!

Here’s some new products in case you missed them!

1)  Tesco Wicked Kitchen Range

Director of Plant-Based Innovation at Tesco, Derek Sarno, is also the co-founder of Wicked Healthy. Tesco have now brought out 20 new vegan products, including sandwiches, wraps, salads and ready meals – and vegan pizzas!

2) Quorn vegan deli slices

Quorn are probably the most well-known meat-alternative brand, and until recently weren’t too vegan friendly. However, they have really upped their game in recent years and will now be adding smoked ‘ham’ and ‘chicken’ style deli slices to their growing vegan range.

3) Asda vegan cheddar cheese

It was only a matter of time! Asda has become the latest supermarket to bring out an own-brand vegan cheese… and it tastes great.

4) Asda vegan sandwiches and ‘to go’ range

Asda have stepped-up when it comes to veganism as of late; since committing to labelling all of their own-brand products, they have been slowly bringing out new products – including these amazing lunch options!

5) Costa Coffee paradise slice

Do you have a sweet tooth? Well Costa’s latest vegan addition is perfect for you.

Costa also offer coconut milk as a dairy-free alternative.

6) Starbucks Pulled BBQ Jackfruit Wrap

Jackfruit is no longer that ‘weird fruit’ that some vegans eat. This versatile fruit has gone mainstream, with Starbucks releasing this delicious wrap in its’ UK stores.

8) New Sainsbury’s ‘to go’ sandwiches

Sainsbury’s have always been very vegan friendly and became the first supermarket to release a vegan sandwich that wasn’t a soggy falafel about a year ago. Now, this range has increased, and we’re very happy!

9) Sainsbury’s Sweet & Smoky BBQ Pulled Jackfruit

Yes, it certainly is now a ‘thing’!

10) Starbucks Five Grain Oatmeal Pot

Not only is it great to have something hot to grab in the morning, this oatmeal pot is packed with grains and seeds, such as flax seeds and quinoa, making it a healthy option too. Top with jam for a delicious treat.

Going vegan doesn’t mean going without! You can still enjoy all of the foods that you currently do, but without the animal cruelty and environmental impact! Why not give it a go?
