Waitrose has announced it will no longer sell meat from birds who have been killed with lead shot, Wild Justice is to launch a legal challenge to the government over the environmental impact of the shooting industry’s release of 50m non-native birds each year and there are calls to restore damaged moorland because of its ability to absorb carbon and remove air pollution.
