1) Naturli’ Spreadable
This is by far one of the best vegan butter alternatives we have come across; it will certainly fool any non-vegans you give it to. It’s also great to know that the spread is palm-oil free.

3) Oatly Barista Edition
Gone are the days of curdled milk in hot drinks! Oat milk is deliciously creamy and perfect in coffee, tea, or even on its own. The Barista-style means that it is designed for hot drinks and so will not curdle.

4) Koko Dairy-Free Chocolate
Perfect for milkshakes, mochas and just a refreshingly delicious beverage. Not only that, it is fortified with essential nutrients like B12, calcium and vitamin D.

5) Vego
Ask any vegan what their favourite chocolate bar is and the chances are they will say Vego. The chocolate and hazelnut paste mean that the chocolate is smooth and creamy, and it has added whole hazelnuts for a bit of texture. There’s a reason it is considered the ‘King of Vegan Chocolate.’

6) Sainsbury’s Vegan Mac ‘n’ Cheese
That’s right, you don’t have to miss out on anything when you decide to go dairy-free. Sainsbury’s have a range of vegan ready-meals, including this delicious vegan mac ‘n’ cheese, which includes some of their own-brand vegan cheddar grated on top.

7) Follow Your Heart Vegan Bleu Cheese Dressing
There are few things that could be considered as legendary as this! This US import is now widely available in health food shops nationwide and certain Sainsbury’s stores. It is rich in omega-3, and has a really creamy taste that is ‘exactly like “normal” bleu cheese’. It is hard to resist drinking it straight from the bottle.

8) Sainsbury’s Garlic and Herb Cream Cheese
The cheese-theme continues. Sainsbury’s has a wide range of own-brand vegan cheeses, but our favourite is by far the garlic and herb cream cheese. Perfect on toast, bagels and spooned into your mouth whilst nobody’s looking.

9) Violife Slices
Violife is possibly one of the most widely accessible vegan cheese alternatives, and it is delicious. The cheese slices are perfectly convenient for topping off vegan burgers on the BBQ or grill – and it melts!

10) Booja Booja Champagne Truffles
Yes, vegans can indulge too! These incredibly moreish truffles are perfect as gift for that special someone – especially if that someone is yourself. As well as being dairy-free, they are also gluten-free and soya-free.
