Ask your MP to take action for game birds

Posted on the 26th October 2017

With your help, we’ve been working hard over the last few weeks to highlight the plight of game birds used for breeding, many of whom are confined to horrible battery-style cages.

As reported in the Daily Mirror, we filmed undercover earlier this year at Heart of England Farms in order to assess the conditions in which the game birds are kept. Many of the birds were stressed from their confinement and in extremely poor condition.

We discovered that the cages used for partridges at this particular establishment were totally barren, leaving the birds nothing to look at but four solid metal walls. We also found dead birds left for days in the egg collection trays.

It is vital that we do all we can to persuade all the major political parties to pledge to ban the cages.

Please help the campaign and write to your MP straight away.
