National Anti-Shooting Week 23-29 September – Take Action!

Posted on the 13th September 2018

Please help with this year’s National Anti-Shooting Week, which focuses on our campaign to ban the cruel battery cages for breeding pheasants and partridges.

Animal Aid investigators filmed at a huge game farm where an estimated 35-40,000 pheasants and partridges were kept in these cages. Many of the partridges were imprisoned in barren units – in breach of the Welfare Code for game birds – but even ‘enriched’ cages offer little stimulation for these semi-wild birds. Can you run a street stall or leafleting event during the week of action? Or perhaps, you can order some of our postcards and ask friends and family to send them to their MP?

We have all the materials you’ll need – please order yours straight away!
