It is with enormous sadness we have to announce that our much-loved former Director, Andrew, passed away on Friday 28th April.

Andrew with Minnie, one his beloved rescue dogs

He was a remarkable and truly inspirational man who worked tirelessly for animals over his 22 years at the helm of Animal Aid.  Many of you will have heard and seen all the numerous heartfelt tributes paid to him at his retirement party last September and which showed how much he was loved and admired by so many across the country.

The Animal Aid ‘family’ is bereft, but we are so privileged to have known and worked with him over many years.  We will continue his wonderful work and maintain his legacy to try and build a better world for animals.

Our hearts go out to his wife Sara, and his stepson Davey.

He will never be forgotten and will be hugely missed by us all.
