Chelmsford residents urged to eat cruelty-free

Members of the public were invited to watch a powerful video showing pigs on the final stage of their journey to a local slaughterhouse, which was filmed during a recent vigil with Essex Pig Save.

We would like to thank all the volunteers who took part in our hugely successful event in Chelmsford yesterday (August 29). We spoke to residents about the vegan diet, and gave out free recipes, nutritional information and vegan sweets and biscuits. The response was excellent, and we are confident that many people were prompted to think about adopting a more compassionate diet.

The action was part of the international Animals are Not Freight Day of Action, which involved organisations from all over the world.
