Your guide to animal-friendly fashion, food and fun - stylish booklet available from Animal Aid, free of charge

National campaigning organisation Animal Aid has produced a glossy, 20 page booklet showing how easy it is to celebrate Christmas in cruelty-free style. Available free of charge, this ultra-stylish guide covers fashion, cosmetics, buying presents, donating to charity, holiday entertainment and the all-important Christmas meal.

Challenging the stereotype that an animal-free lifestyle means you will be restricted to wearing hemp and cheesecloth, existing on a diet of nuts and pulses, each section is illustrated with beautiful photographs showing sparkling party shoes, handbags and belts; luxurious make-up and toiletries and other animal-friendly goodies, including champagne and chocolates.

Rose Elliot, renowned vegetarian chef, has provided recipe suggestions for a delicious meat-free feast, with a seasonal Two Pear Salad for first course, Savoury Strudel for the main dish, and Boozy Ice Cream for a special Christmas treat. The food photography alone will set the tastebuds tingling!

A must-have for ethical consumers, animal lovers, foodies and fashionistas alike, Compassionate Christmas proves that you won’t miss out on festive fun by excluding animal products from your diet and shopping list.
