Animal Aid’s Christmas Festival returns to the Exeter Corn Exchange this Saturday. Guest speaker, wildlife expert & author Brigit Strawbridge-Howard will join 50 animal charities and vegan companies for an animal-friendly day of Christmas shopping, food, talks, music and festivity.
Brigit will be speaking about her new and critically acclaimed book ‘Dancing with Bees’, the secretive world of bumblebees, and her own personal journey back to nature. “Dancing with Bees signals the way to a richer, wilder future.”—Isabella Tree, author of Wilding.
Visitors to the Festival can support the amazing work of and purchase gifts from many animal charities & groups – from Animals Asia to People4Ponies or Sea Shepherd. Alongside the animal groups we have local companies selling vegan food, drink and gifts – seaweed gin, artisan chocolate, vegan cakes & bakes, skincare and eco-friendly products.
Says Iain Green Animal Aid Festival Organiser:
“I am so delighted that Brigit Strawbridge-Howard is joining us for this year, I know how popular her talk will be. And as well as the many animal charities and local companies, visitors can enjoy other talks, the Exeter University World Music Choir and of course relax over lunch or a snack in the Festival café.”
