57% of Summer Vegan Pledge survey respondents to remain vegan

Posted on the 25th August 2019

Following on from our very successful Summer Vegan Pledge, which takes place every June, the follow-up survey shows that 57% of respondents have decided to remain vegan.

This June, a total of 3,556 people took our Summer Vegan Pledge. The Summer Vegan Pledge is a month long pledge where non-vegans go vegan for the month of June and get all of the help and support they need.

The results of the feedback survey were absolutely amazing, with more than half of respondents saying that they have chosen to remain vegan afterwards!

If the results from the survey are representative of all participants, we can estimate that 2,026 people have remained vegan following the Summer Vegan Pledge 2019.

Other interesting results:

  • 35% of respondents say they have reduced their animal product consumption
  • 71% found the Summer Vegan Pledge very helpful or helpful
  • 71% said the Summer Vegan Pledge resources were very useful or useful

We are very pleased with these results, which show that the Summer Vegan Pledge can be a huge help in getting people to make more compassionate food choices. We would like to thank all of the people who took part in the Summer Vegan Pledge this year, as well as those who shared and promoted it. Additionally, a huge thank you to the restaurants and eateries who offered participants special offers and discounts.
