Animal Aid's Badger Battle Bus on Tour... and recruiting badger campaigners

Posted 17 April 2014

Animal Aid’s Badger Battle Bus will be back in the cull zones over the next two weeks, recruiting campaigners and encouraging landowners to choose vaccination. Please come and see us, and help us hand out leaflets.

We will be at:

  • The Gloucester Badger Rally, Sat 19th April, 12 noon at The Bandstand, Gloucester Park, Spa Road GL1 1UZ
  • Taking our message to the villages in the Forest of Dean on Sun 20th April (look out for us!)
  • Cirencester town centre on Monday 21st April
  • Yeovil town centre on Friday 25th April
  • Glastonbury town centre on Saturday 26th April
  • Taunton town centre on Sunday 27th April

We will also be in Dorchester!

Although Dorset is safe from culling for now, Dorset for Badger and Bovine Welfare is hosting a Badger march and rally on Saturday 17th May, and will continue to help and support those in the cull zones.

Please come along to Borough Gardens on 17th May from 12-3. See full details.

Order leaflets

We’ve spoken to our friends and colleagues in the cull zones and they tell us what they need now are recruits. To that end, we have produced a joint leaflet with campaigners in Somerset, Gloucestershire and Dorset, encouraging people to support the badger patrols. See the leaflet.

Please order copies to distribute.
