Set a Good ‘Eggsample’ - Go Veggie!

Posted 4 March 2008

The Easter weekend (21 - 24 March) falls within Veggie Month and Animal Aid supporters plan to make good use of the long weekend by taking to the streets to promote vegetarianism. Veggie Month traditionally focuses on the health benefits of a meat-free diet, but, additionally, this year we are focusing on the cruelty of the meat trade.

Animal Aid’s Easter chick will be making some surprise visits over the Easter holiday whilst other Animal Aid members will be leafleting outside supermarkets and in high streets across the UK. Shoppers will be given our leaflets and asked to take the Veggie Challenge.

Our dedicated Veggie Month website offers information, advice, recipes and competition prizes for all those interested in adopting a more compassionate diet. Going veggie is good for your health, good for the planet and one of the easiest things you can do to help animals.
