Kill It, Cook It, Eat It - Grouse Killing

The Thursday January 8th episode of Kill It, Cook It, Eat It saw nine contestants travelling to Scotland to take part in shooting and eating grouse. One contestant, Emma Hartwell, from Leamington Spa, took part in the programme as she felt that it was vital to put across the vegetarian message of compassion towards animals. Horrified by the spectacle of defenceless birds being blasted from the sky, she wrote this article – and also decided to go vegan.
