March Against Vivisection

Posted 15 April 2009

On Saturday April 25th a major march and rally will take place in central London to commemorate this year’s World Day for Animals in Laboratories.

The aim is to expose and protest against government support for the vivisection industry and to call for an independent scientific evaluation of the scientific merits of animal research - an enquiry demanded by the 250 MPs who signed a parliamentary Early Day Motion in 2005.

Meet 12 noon, Reformer’s Tree, near Speakers’ Corner (nearest tube: Marble Arch)

If you can't attend the march, Animal Aid has a general World Day for Animals in Laboratories leaflet that would be ideal for door dropping or handing out to friends and family members to ensure the animals in laboratories are not forgotten.
